Building strong, confident communicators through skilled, engaging, and compassionate care is our top priority. Owned and operated by Greensboro, NC native and speech-language pathologist, Madelyn Elliott, The Grove Speech Center provides pediatric speech-language evaluations and therapy services via in-person sessions in the Greensboro, NC area and telehealth throughout North Carolina and Virginia. We are passionate about developing excellent relationships with our clients and their families so that we can grow in grace together. We strive to offer effective diagnostic and therapeutic services that are personalized to each client's needs and preferences. We believe that every child has a deep desire to be known, to connect with others, and to be understood. Meet the Owner

Owner and Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Madelyn Elliott, M.S., CCC-SLP
Raised in Greensboro, NC, Madelyn is thrilled to be giving back to her community as a small business owner and private practitioner working directly with families in need of speech therapy services. A graduate of Caldwell Academy, Madelyn went on to attend Appalachian State University and earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She specializes in pediatric speech and language disorders and is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of speech sound/articulation errors, language disorders and delays, augmented and alternative communication (AAC), fluency disorders/stuttering, social communication needs, and more. She has extensive post-graduate experience in private practice, the university/research setting, and the NC and VA public schools. Madelyn holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and state speech-language pathology licenses in NC and VA.

In addition to serving clients through The Grove Speech Center, Madelyn is part of the WLIFT Research Team at Baylor University. WLIFT (Written Language Intervention for Functional Texts) is a research study funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) studying the impact of evidence-based reading strategies as they relate to young adults with IDD. Madelyn participates in this important research by serving as the team's interventionist via telehealth. She enjoys how this role allows her to contribute to evidence-based practice in the field of speech-language pathology and continue to grow her clinical knowledge and skills.

Madelyn lives locally with her husband and their two cats. She is passionate about her profession, cooking/baking, reading and writing, her family, her faith, and hot tea. Madelyn is currently accepting new patients!
